You know your area better than anyone. That's why we're looking for people who live in Glasgow, Cumbernauld or the West of Scotland to join our Central Area Committee. 

You'll share your views and local knowledge to help improve homes, services and communities across your area. No previous committee experience is needed. 

We'll provide training and support every step of the way.

Why get involved? 

As a committee member, you can: 

  • Speak up for your community 
  • Help improve services for customers 
  • Have a say in decisions that affect local homes and neighbourhoods 
  • Learn new skills and build your experience 
  • Build your confidence and meet new people

What will you do? 

You'll:

  • Look at how local housing services are doing 
  • Ask questions, challenge where needed and share your views 
  • Share your local knowledge and experience 
  • Share ideas about how we can make things better 
  • Help improve services, homes and communities

The committee meets four times a year, making it a manageable and rewarding voluntary role. Full training will be provided.

  • Can attend meetings and take part in discussions
