Battlefield, Glasgow

Battlefield, Glasgow

Battlefield is situated south of the River Clyde. The area takes its name from the Battle of Langside in 1568, where Mary, Queen of Scots' army suffered defeat by forces supporting her infant son, James VI. A prominent monument, crafted by Alexander Skirving in 1887, now stands near Queen's Park, marking the 320th anniversary of this historic event. Queen's Park, a 60-hectare oasis of calm, lies just to the north of the development.

Langside College and Battlefield Primary are both within a 5-10 minute walk, making this a great area for those with children or those looking to study nearby. The transport links are excellent in the area, with regular buses and the local train station, Mount Florida, within walking distance. The development is within walking distance of a diverse range of facilities, including shops, cafes, bars, and restaurants, and benefits from easy access to a number of transport links.

The development is comprised of 61 flats offering a range of one, two and three bedroom properties for Mid-Market Rent.
