Who is Next of Kin?
Next of kin refers to a nominated individual whom we can contact in case of an emergency. This person can be contacted to provide immediate support or assistance during critical situations.
Your next of kin doesn’t necessarily have to be a blood relative or spouse; you can also nominate a friend, neighbour or anyone else you trust.
It’s important to note that the person you nominate must agree to the nomination.
Who Can Grant Permission?
Permission to add a Next Of Kin can only be granted by:
- Those named on the Tenancy Agreement (either the lead tenant or co-tenant)
- Individuals or organisations holding Power of Attorney
