Sanctuary has mid-market rent (MMR) properties in Glasgow, North Lanarkshire, Aberdeen and Carnoustie. These are only available to applicants who meet our eligibility criteria.
What is mid-market rent?
Mid-market rent (MMR) is a form of affordable housing. Tenants generally pay a lower rate than renting privately, but more than for local social housing. Starting rents for new MMR homes are often similar to the Local Housing Allowance. This might be a more suitable option for people who would struggle to rent privately or buy their own home.
Our MMR homes offer high-quality, secure and accessible living that is sustainable, energy efficient and easily maintained. Every double bedroom is fitted with a full-sized wardrobe including a hanging rail and shelving. Furnishings such as blinds, floor covering, a cooker oven, a washer, a fridge-freezer and kitchen units are also installed in all properties. Some properties also have a washer-dryer.
