
Pooja Joglekar
An executive leader, with accountability for organisational strategy and performance. Established Board Member and Trustee with diverse voluntary portfolio. Pooja brings 20 years of experience in business, projects, supply chain contracting, EU procurement regulations, and ESG (Ethical, Social, Sustainability, Governance). She has worked across sectors like manufacturing, higher education, financial services, and recently utilities, particularly Low Carbon Energy, in both private and public sector roles involving leading through uncertainty and management of large scale financial and operational risks.
Pooja holds a Masters in Business Administration from University of Strathclyde (specialization in energy sector leadership), a B.Engg (Hons) from the University of Pune, and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS) among other qualifications.
Pooja values authentic leadership, social & environmental responsibility, collaborative working, commitment to long term sustainable success, and is an active DE&I champion. As a board member, she believes in listening, and values regular, constructive review of the organisation’s planning to ensure that the Boards and Committees are well supported in achieving crucial milestones in their strategic intent.
Pooja is based in East Dunbartonshire, Scotland. She and her husband have a busy family life with children and pets. When lucky to find time, she enjoys badminton, swimming and gardening.
