Michael McGrane

Michael joined Sanctuary Scotland’s board of management in October 2016. Michael was previously a partner in the commercial property department of Burness Paull Solicitors with a focus on development and regeneration and latterly was also the firm-wide client relations partner and the firm's designated Law Society of Scotland cash room partner. A Law and Accountancy graduate of the University of Glasgow, Michael worked as an accountant for three years before a 20-year career with Burness Paull.

As a solicitor Michael worked very closely with Sanctuary Scotland on large and small developments as part of the project team. He has extensive experience of organisational mergers and an understanding of their advantages and challenges. Now retired, Michael is also a Non-Executive Director of The Spark charity in Glasgow.
