Sanctuary Scotland’s rents will increase by 6 percent from July, our Board of Management has confirmed.
The rise is lower than the 7 percent we consulted our residents on. More than 430 of you fed back on our proposed increase, directly influencing the final figure.
The below-inflation increase of 6 percent will help us to maintain and improve our homes and also help us make a difference in your community.
For most residents the increase will take effect from July. We’ll give you notice in writing at least four weeks before your payment changes.
Our residents in Toryglen, Glasgow were not involved in the consultation as they enter the last year of our three-year transfer promise. The rents for our homes in Toryglen will rise by 3 percent from July.
