Sanctuary Scotland’s rents will increase by 5.8 percent from July, our Board of Management has confirmed.

This figure is based on last November’s Retail Price Index (5.3 percent), plus 0.5 percent.

Through our consultation, around 270 residents told us what they thought about the proposed increase. Those comments helped us understand how it might impact them, and the services they would like us to improve.

The increase will help us deliver high-quality services for customers, including improving our repairs performance, reinvesting in our homes, and providing more local support.

If you get Housing Benefit or Universal Credit, your support will automatically adjust to cover the increase.

We can also support you with welfare advice to help you find out what benefits you qualify for.
