Toryglen’s new Community Living Room

We recently transformed the upper space at the Cornerstone Hall in Toryglen, Glasgow, into a ‘Community Living Room’. The room is free to use every Wednesday from 11am and 2pm.

Local residents can meet with each other, enjoy a tea or coffee, play some games, or just relax by yourself – the choice is yours.

Our community connector Kieran Renshaw said: “This space was created to meet the needs of the community. It can be a games room, a library, a place to talk, whatever people want to use it for.

“We’ve got lots of plans for the future – we’re hoping to work more with organisations in the community, and to extend our opening hours.”

Our local team kindly donated sofas, board games, plants and furniture to make the room as comfortable as possible.

We look forward to seeing you there!
